JC Racing Products very own Nathan Powney dominated round 8 of the Nitro X Cross this past Sunday following a disappointing final in round 7 due to transmitter problems. Unlike the day before, the weather stayed dry for the majority of the day with showers during the finals. With a crowd of spectators throughout the day, racers were this time greeted with no practice yet 3 rounds of qualifying followed by their respected finals. The first round of quailifying was dominated by John Howells who put in 10 laps in 5:27 followed closely by Milan Dragojlovic and Steve Shakespear. However during the second round it was Nathan Powney who took TQ followed by Milan Dragojlovic and John Howells. The final round of qualifying was again taken by TQ man Nathan Powney securing 10 laps in 5:09. Second place went to John Howells with Milan Dragojlovic in third position. Round 8 unfortunately had no truggy entries following the previous day/round of five entries.
